I was invited to dance in the VE 2017 show and quickly found myself playing lead guitar in the band because over 20 years of dancing in competition, theatre and socially and being a founder member of the incredibly successful dance acrobatics team ‘Dancing On Air’ qualifies me for that…. apparently!
I love performing and working with such an amazing team of people for such a worthwhile cause; raising money for local charities. I’ve learned so much from being a part of the band, cast and backstage crew of every show since I joined the VE family and now, for 2023, I’m looking forward to new challenges being apart of the committee and production team.
VE is a far cry from my day job as an aeronautical engineer, maintaining air ambulances and police helicopters all around the the UK for Airbus Helicopters, but working shifts gives me more time than most people for learning songs and dance routines and generally being over prepared for every show.
