I started dancing when I was 6 years old and was lucky enough to go to a Theatre School in London for 3 years. After leaving, I discovered a love of singing and started to sing whenever I could, mainly in various talent competitions. I worked on the entertainments team on holiday parks for 3 years, then had my children so it all stopped.
I had a change in personal circumstances and decided it was time to put myself first again and find something I had a passion for.
In 2015, I came across VE by accident so thought I’d give it a try and I haven’t looked back. I was made to feel welcome and love being part of such an amazing group.
My confidence has grown over the years, I’m singing and dancing again and best of all it’s all for charity.
I have a busy, stressful job and VE is a great way to switch off and is great for my wellbeing.
I’ve made friendships that are very special to me. VE is family; we come together doing what we love.
